This is a application software designed for the LED Control Box. Connect to our WiFi Control Box，you can choose any color as your request , such as red, green, blue, purple, orange and so on, It also can dim the brightness.
On the other hand, you can adjust a variety of beautiful lighting effects, such as different colors chase each other and jumping, and so on, you can also adjust the Color temperature ( cold white and warm white ).
But these functions depend on our controller ,First of all is to power on our LED WiFi Controller , then open the mobile phone WiFi connection page to connect our WiFi equipment, our WiFi device name is" LEDnetxxxxxxxxxxxx" format, if connect success, quit page and Start the Software, now you can control the light by your Phone. Its not possible to sync the time and the timer doesnt work
I initially bought the regular RGB controller that from this seller (uses the "LED Magic Color" app offered by this developer) and loved it but wanted the scheduling feature offered by the "Magic UFO" device. It was a good upgrade, (for the same price) but one big issue in this app is that there is a lag in controlling the color of the lights, especially when using the music mode. On the other controller, music mode worked great and I was even able to tap along the circle to make my own sequences. Now, the lag is so bad I cant do this. If this is something that can be fixed, Ill give this app the full 5 stars as everything else (scheduling, animations), works great. Otherwise Im going back to the other controller (unfortunately without the automation feature) to gain back the instant control of the lights.
Set up was easier than I thought. App and device is kinda buggy, restarting the app sometimes helps. It is a hard switch to whatever color youve set at a specific time. App crashes if you try to add more than 6 timer schedules. Would be really great if you could program a fade between colors between time entries. Access to DIY modes in timers, instead of just the built-in functions would be nice too. Feedback in the timer and DIY modes would be helpful to see what you are programming. I hope it gets an update!
Weve been using this in our basement for our theater lighting for six months and its worked great. We use it with the WEMO switch controlling the audio video and this controlling the lights. We just got a couple more of these for lighting in our kitchen on separate sides of the room and this app allows us to control them both at the same time using the group feature. The only thing I would like to have added to the app is the ability to control the lights with the Apple Watch.
This is the best app thus far to allow for wifi connected LED strips. The UFO hardware is super easy to set up. It is also very cost-effective. I love it for being able to just turn on the lights remotely and turn them off without having to get up or find a remote. The timing feature does not seem to work because the controller thinks that it is in the year 2020. In this version I cant seem to sync the time on the controller to that of my phone.
